5 Useful apps!

Would you like to contribute to a more sustainable life? And did you know that there are many different and useful apps to help you do this? We have listed 5 sustainable apps for you!

Ecosia

Did you know that we all perform 3.5 billion searches through a search engine in a day? What if we could use that differently. B Corp Ecosia is a Web browser, just the green version of Google. It actually works exactly the same but by using Ecosia, you contribute to a better world by using part of the ad revenue to plant trees. This eco-friendly app is a good alternative. Their servers run on 100% renewable energy and from the ad revenue trees are planted in places where they are needed most.

Hallmark Guide

Using the Hallmark guide app from Milieu Centraal you can always make the most sustainable choice. The Keurmerkenwijzer provides information on some 300 hallmarks and logos that say something about the environment, animal welfare and/or aspects related to people & work. Milieu Centraal assesses how strict the requirements of the hallmarks and logos are based on the information that logos publish on their websites. It also takes into account how compliance is monitored. You can easily use the Keurmerkenwijzer app download.

Too Good To Go

This app helps local restaurants and combats food waste. The concept is that local restaurants put together a so-called food box at the end of the workday with leftover produce. These boxes can then be purchased at a reasonable price. Too Good To Go Like Greenjobs, is also a B Corp! We are fans of the app and save food monthly by ordering through the app!

The Questionmark

This app from The Questionmark shows the impact of supermarket products on the environment, your health and animal welfare. In the app, you can scan the barcode of products and this allows you to see whether you can buy the product with peace of mind, or whether you'd rather let it pass you by. So sustainable grocery shopping is made easy for you! So curious if the groceries you buy at Jumbo, Lidl, AH, Aldi, Marqt, Ekoplaza and other supermarkets are sustainable, use this handy sustainable app!

HappyCow

HappyCow in addition to its website, has a handy sustainable app where vegetarian and vegan restaurants can be found. What makes this app extra nice is that there is a whole community behind it: already two million people have downloaded the app. On the app you can give your own recommendations and leave reviews. So looking for a vegetarian restaurant near you? Download the sustainable app!
