SDGs on stage

"SDGs on stage" was developed by Fontys, Saxion and Avans University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with Learning for Tomorrow and Greenjobs.nl. SDGs on stage is a content and internship platform that connects students, educators and businesses around the Sustainable Development Goals.

Our use of collected data

SDG's on Stage processes your personal data. When you create an account, apply for an internship or respond to an internship, your personal data is processed and recorded. This data is used to perform our services. The data will be stored on SDG's on Stage's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

SDG's on Stage processes your personal data for the purpose of:

  • best match your preferences with internship offerings
  • send you a newsletter
  • Calling or emailing you if necessary to perform our services
  • Inform you of changes to our services and products
  • provide you with the ability to create an account
  • Make analyses of the use of the platform and matches that take place between internship seeker and internship provider
  • Conduct analyses of the type of internship assignments
  • Further improve and develop the platform

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy unless we have obtained your prior consent.

How long we keep personal data

SDG's on Stage will not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

SDG's on Stage does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide them if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. SDG's on Stage remains responsible for this processing. Information is not shared with third parties with the exception of web application (Docdata Payments), which we use for payments in our online store. This data is only used for the purpose of the application and is not further distributed. Furthermore, in some cases the information may be shared internally. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

SDG's on Stage uses tracking, functional and analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website may be transferred to SDG's On Stage's own secure servers or those of a third party. We use this information to track how you use the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. SDG's On Stage will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at least within four weeks. SDG's on Stage takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
