BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN (M/F/D)

Internship Description

Position: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Remote/Enschede/Hybrid
Compensation: 500Based on profile and experience
Duration: 6 months (flexible start date)

Key responsibilities

  • Actively researching and identifying new leads, partners, and growth opportunities
  • Running outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) 
  • Helping prepare for sales calls and product demos, sometimes joining live
  • Supporting with market research on regulations, target countries, and customer segments
  • Keeping our CRM and sales pipeline up-to-date
  • Helping roll out go-to-market experiments and customer pilots
  • Supporting bAwear on (partner) events

Qualifications

  • Studying (or recently graduated in) Business, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Economics or similar.
  • Startup mindset: proactive, self-starting, not afraid to fail and learn
  • Comfortable with doing research, picking up the phone, and taking initiative
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or other languages are a plus
  • Eager to learn about sustainability, the textile industry, and/or B2B SaaS
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and driven by results—not afraid to move fast, fail and iterate.

  • Bij bAwear werkt de student direct aan meerdere Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), vooral:

    • SDG 12 – Verantwoorde consumptie en productie: de student helpt bedrijven om de milieu-impact van kledingstukken inzichtelijk te maken via LCA-tools, en draagt zo bij aan duurzamere ontwerp- en productieprocessen.

    • SDG 13 – Klimaatactie: door het in kaart brengen van CO₂-uitstoot en andere impactcategorieën ondersteunt de student organisaties bij het nemen van gerichte maatregelen om hun voetafdruk te verlagen.

    • SDG 9 – Industrie, innovatie en infrastructuur: de student werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling en toepassing van digitale tools voor duurzaamheid in de textielsector.

    De stage biedt dus een kans om op praktische wijze bij te dragen aan een eerlijkere en duurzamere textielindustrie.
