Internship Description

There it is: your marketing & communications internship at our fast-growing company in making homes and neighborhoods more sustainable. Your #1 goal is to use communications to inform, inspire and activate people about sustainable living. You will contribute to a better world and learn all the tricks of the trade!

What exactly are you going to do?
We face a great challenge: The Netherlands must get rid of natural gas. As you can imagine, marketing and communications play an important role in this transition. That's why we could really use your help. As a marketing & communications intern at Rel, you will support the Marcom team. Through many different communication channels, we reach residents throughout the Netherlands. Together we ensure that we spread the right message at the right time to the right people.

  • You will manage our social media channels and post regular ads to increase the visibility of our website and promotions.

  • You will create or improve communications materials for our "communications toolkit" used by more than 60 municipalities. This includes, for example, press releases, resident letters, social media messages, print materials, royalty-free photos, videos and infographics);

  • You will create content for- and post content on our websites;

  • You will ensure that our new corporate identity is consistently implemented in all our communications;

  • You will conduct surveys of residents on usability of our websites;

  • You create mailings in Marketingcloud, a smart tool used by many companies;

  • You help analyze data;

  • You have contact with (external) designers for the layout of expressions.

Within this position, you will be given a lot of responsibility and freedom to conceive and create new communication tools. Are there other things you would like to learn but are not in the list above? There is plenty of room for that too.

Requirements

  • You are majoring in communications, journalism, media or marketing;

  • You will be available by September 1 for a minimum of 5 months for at least 4 days a week;

  • You have an affinity for sustainability.

What do we offer you?

  • Internship stipend of €300 per month.

  • Tasty vegetarian/vegan lunch at the office.

  • Ability to work partially from home.

  • Regular get-togethers.

  • New office, 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Zuid station.
