Advocacy and policy advocacy internship at Partos

Internship Description

Partos  is looking for an intern (v/x/m) to support the advocacy and policy advocacy department.

Partos is the trade association for NGOs working in the development cooperation sector in the Netherlands. The association represents the interests of about 100 Dutch development organizations: these are our members. They are committed to poverty reduction, humanitarian aid, human rights and sustainable development. In addition to representing our members, Partos facilitates and coordinates joint initiatives to influence public opinion, the private sector and politics. This is what we do in the Netherlands and Europe. In many cases, the Dutch government is an important partner for Partos members, but European institutions and the private sector are also becoming increasingly important stakeholders for the development sector. Thanks to sector-wide influence, the clout of policy initiatives is greater and, at the same time, the development sector's message is more unified. Key topics that Partos focuses on are policy coherence for development, civil society interests and space, the quality and quantity of the development budget and climate justice.
