Intern Back-End Developer

We are a company with a mission. We help customers switch to sustainable mobility. We supply (and produce) charging stations for electric cars and more importantly, we provide innovative (software) services around it (think smart charging, price-based charging, extensive dashboard functionalities and a mobile App). As a company, we want to contribute to CO2 neutrality by accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. We have several assignments open for third year students and graduates.

What will you do?

We develop and manage charge points for our users. We do this by developing software to control and monitor charge points and by providing facilities that give users insight into the use of the charge points. To do this, we collect a lot of data on the power consumption of cars at our charge points and the power consumption within homes and businesses. Our software responds to this data by making adjustments to the amount of power heading to charge points. We also develop software to support the various business processes, such as the product and test process of the charge points, the ordering and delivery process and the ability to settle transactions. Depending on where your strength lies, you will work more on end-user functionality (dashboard/screens) or more on server processes (batches/APIs, etc).

What do we expect from you?

• You have an affinity for sustainability.

• Looking for an internship with independence.

• You are currently majoring in Information Technology.

• Knowledge of databases, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Preferably knowledge of one of the following development languages or frameworks: NodeJS, HTML/CSS/Javascript, REST Api's.

• Preferably knowledge of Unix.
