Within our Migration & Human Rights program, we have a long track record of lobbying, interventions and projects to improve the rights of refugees. In recent years, we have focused on making visible and strengthening local solidarity with refugees. In 2019, we launched Together Here: the first "community sponsorship model" in the Netherlands. Samen Hier wants refugees to (continue to) come to the Netherlands through safe routes and is building a movement in several Dutch cities and villages in which citizens play a major role in contributing to this. In collaboration with local and national governments, residents are shaping humane refugee policies by providing safe havens for new arrivals. In the coming years, we want to further expand this Together Here movement into a national and visible movement of active citizenship for refugees.   • You will work on the organization of (recruitment) campaigns, community-building events, partner meetings and awareness-raising activities and think of new ways to increase and strengthen the Together Here movement...;
  • You will participate in the monitoring and evaluation of our activities, which will include conducting interviews or writing an evaluation report;
  • You will be involved in the entire program and think with the migration team about possible improvements to Together Here.

  • You are interested in the work of Justice & Peace and in migration issues in particular;
  • You bring energy, initiative and enthusiasm; you enjoy working on new things and can work well independently.

We offer you:

  • An internship stipend of €500 gross per month (based on 36 hours);
  • Full travel reimbursement (2e class);
  • A workplace at our office in The Hague city center;
