Intern Acceleration House Netherlands Circular!

The Gear House is a national program that helps entrepreneurs do circular business. Entrepreneurs can contact the Acceleration House for questions about financing, legislation, knowledge and partners within the circular economy. Is there a request for help from an entrepreneur? Then the team of the Acceleration House will see if it can connect the entrepreneur to sources with relevant knowledge, an expert or a collaborative partner.

This project is a partnership of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, CSR Netherlands, The Green Brain, VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland.

What will you do?

As an intern at the Acceleration House, you will be in frequent contact with circular entrepreneurs. It is a varied internship in which you will work with a multidisciplinary project team of CSR Netherlands. This means, among other things, that you will:

• Working with the case manager to find solutions to entrepreneurial challenges

• assists in organizing events

• answers questions from business owners through the mailbox

• Supports the completion of newsletters and social media planning

• Participates in project team meetings

Good to know

• We are looking for an intern for a period of 5-6 months starting in mid-September 2024. Earlier or later start is possible by mutual agreement.

• It may also be a graduate internship, with the condition that you are at least half cooperate with us.

You are a third- or fourth-year college or university student. You are doing a relevant study in the field of sustainability, social sciences or entrepreneurship. You are communicatively strong, keep an overview, work carefully and are not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to entrepreneurs or colleagues. You want to contribute to the circular economy and are eager to help (SME) entrepreneurs.

What do we offer?

As an intern at The Acceleration House, you will work in the CSR Netherlands team. Working at MVO Netherlands means doing something that really matters. You will learn every day from enthusiastic and progressive colleagues in a nice, open working atmosphere. And we learn from you. During this internship you will be given a lot of responsibility without being left to your own devices. You can develop yourself in the areas you want to become better at, such as pitching in front of a group of people or overcoming your interests. Moreover, you quickly prepare your network with circular entrepreneurs and partners from the network of MVO Nederland. A great stepping stone for a career within sustainability.

Last but not least, you will receive a monthly internship allowance of gross 400 euros at 40 hours. We will loan you a laptop. If you do not have a public transport pass, we will reimburse your travel expenses on the basis of second class public transport. Do you live closer? Then perhaps you can cycle to the office. Our office is within cycling distance of Utrecht Central Station. Every day to the office is no must, but fun! You can work partly from home and have a lot of freedom in arranging your hours.
