Hallo! Wij zijn Cross Your Borders. We organiseren interactieve onderwijsprojecten en indrukwekkende jongerenreizen, waarbij jongeren spelenderwijs over (hun) grenzen kijken en de wereld ontdekken. Zo zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste:

What will you do?
Je stage is divers, je wisselt het begeleiden van klassen af met de inzet van je kennis en interesse in de organisatie.

Duties as a project supervisor

• Supervising classes during interactive citizenship projects
• Sharing knowledge with young people on issues such as climate change, unfair trade and human rights
• Working with scholars and students of a variety of ages and levels
• Visiting schools throughout the country
• Collaborate with fellow interns and teachers during the implementation of educational projects

Taak als coach

Inhoudelijk ondersteunen en coachen van docenten die tijdens burgerschapsprojecten zelf hun klas begeleiden

Voorbeelden van taken naast het begeleiden van projecten vanaf 24 uur per week (afhankelijk van opleiding en interesse)

• Assisteren of coördineren van onderwijsprojecten en leiding geven aan een team van mede-stagiaires en docenten
• Meewerken aan de ontwikkeling van ons nieuwste project ‘Serious Games’ door het onderzoeken van huidige ontwikkelingsproblematiek en actuele gebeurtenissen
• Analyze existing educational projects and develop content, form and didactics based on the latest scientific theories and insights
• Giving workshops and training to fellow interns
• Produce and distribute content on social media channels, such as Instagram and LinkedIn
• Setting up new travel destinations, finding contacts and developing a travel program
• Possibly combine your internship with a (thesis) research project

What we ask

• Je bent een HBO-student
• You are available for a minimum of 3 months for 16 hours per week or more, or a minimum of 6 months for 8 hours per week
• You are in possession of a student week-OV card
• You are sociable, energetic and enjoy making young people aware of global injustice
