Trainee Project Officer

INTERN PROJECT OFFICER 

24 - 40 hours per week

What will you do?

Your internship will be diverse, alternating between supervising classes and using your scientific expertise in the organization.

Duties as a project supervisor

• Supervising classes during interactive citizenship projects
• Sharing knowledge with young people on issues such as climate change, unfair trade and human rights
• Working with scholars and students of a variety of ages and levels
• Visiting schools throughout the country
• Collaborate with fellow interns and teachers during the implementation of educational projects

Duties as a project officer

• Assist or coordinate educational projects and lead a team
• Direct fellow interns and teachers during the implementation of educational projects
• Giving workshops and training to fellow interns
• Analyze Cross Your Borders' policies and make recommendations based on the latest scientific theories and insights
• Provide (administrative) support, e.g. in recruitment and selection processes
• Possibly combine your internship with a (thesis) research project

What we ask

• You are an HBO/WO student
• You are available for a minimum of 3 months for 24 hours per week or more
• You are in possession of a student week-OV card
• You are sociable, energetic and enjoy making young people aware of global injustice
